Privacy policy

FrameSnap captures a video frame only when the user clicks Capture. The image, timestamp, page title, and page URL are stored in chrome.storage.local on the device. Nothing is sent to a server.

There is no account, no analytics, and no sale or transfer of data. There is no remote code.

Permissions: activeTab, storage, and scripting. activeTab is used to reach the tab you opened the popup from. storage keeps the snapshots on the device. scripting injects the local capture script into that tab when it was already open.
